Halcyon is our systemic survival game — less about a scripted story, more about a simulation that pushes back. You rebuild a world that keeps finding new ways to fall apart, and the interesting decisions come out of the systems colliding, not out of a quest log.

The core loop is prototyped and playable. What's left is the long tail: content, balance and the polish that turns a working simulation into a game worth living in.

01The bet

The best survival games aren't written, they're simulated — the story is whatever the systems did to you this run. Halcyon starts from that: build a loop deep enough that we're surprised by it, then make it legible enough that players are too.

02Where it is

The simulation loop runs and is fun to press on. It's in the lab now getting content, balance passes and the polish that decides whether a prototype becomes a product.
